And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.


So then, after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.


And ye are witnesses of these things.


Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,


and ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.


which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.


until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:


This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.


And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.


how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
