If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door: and unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.


Then said the Lord, Doest thou well to be angry?


that ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.


And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phoeni´cia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.


And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.


whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.


and to pass by you into Macedo´nia, and to come again out of Macedo´nia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judea.

that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;


that ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.


Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apol´los on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.


For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.


Deme´tri-us hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.
