And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the Lord's anointed.


The Lord hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned; and the Lord hath delivered the kingdom into the hand of Ab´salom thy son: and, behold, thou art taken in thy mischief, because thou art a bloody man.


And afterward when David heard it, he said, I and my kingdom are guiltless before the Lord for ever from the blood of Abner the son of Ner.


Now Na´aman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valor, but he was a leper.


The leprosy therefore of Na´aman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.


I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high.
