Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:


but verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.


Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.


But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zechari´ah: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.


and said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
