Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jecholi´ah of Jerusalem.


And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord: he did according to all that his father Uzzi´ah had done.


And Jo´ash did that which was right in the sight of the Lord all the days of Jehoi´ada the priest.


And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a perfect heart.


Sixteen years old was Uzzi´ah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jecoli´ah of Jerusalem.


And he sought God in the days of Zechari´ah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper.


And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Uzzi´ah did: howbeit he entered not into the temple of the Lord. And the people did yet corruptly.
