And he called the name of that place Beth–el: but the name of that city was called Luz at the first.


and this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.


And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Beth–el, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.


and let us arise, and go up to Beth–el; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.


The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.


So Han´ameel mine uncle's son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the Lord, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in An´athoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of the Lord.


And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.


And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the Lord for a sweet savor: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.


And if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord.


And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the Lord be of the flock, male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.


Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings.


and turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chis´loth–ta´bor, and then goeth out to Dab´erath, and goeth up to Japhi´a,


and the coast reacheth to Tabor, and Shahazi´mah, and Beth–she´mesh; and the outgoings of their border were at Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.


And the children of Israel arose, and went up to the house of God, and asked counsel of God, and said, Which of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And the Lord said, Judah shall go up first.


(And the children of Israel went up and wept before the Lord until even, and asked counsel of the Lord, saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the Lord said, Go up against him.)


And the children of Israel inquired of the Lord, (for the ark of the covenant of God was there in those days,


And they showed Sis´era that Barak the son of Abin´o-am was gone up to mount Tabor.


And she sent and called Barak the son of Abin´o-am out of Kedesh–naph´tali, and said unto him, Hath not the Lord God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naph´tali and of the children of Zeb´ulun?


Then said he unto Zebah and Zalmun´na, What manner of men were they whom ye slew at Tabor? And they answered, As thou art, so were they; each one resembled the children of a king.


and they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of bread; which thou shalt receive of their hands.
