And when Jacob saw them, he said, This is God's host: and he called the name of that place Mahana´im.


Then David came to Mahana´im. And Ab´salom passed over Jordan, he and all the men of Israel with him.


And it came to pass, when David was come to Mahana´im, that Shobi the son of Nahash of Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and Machir the son of Am´mi-el of Lo–de´bar, and Barzil´lai the Gil´e-adite of Ro´gelim,


But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul's host, took Ish–bo´sheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahana´im;


of the half tribe of Manas´seh in Gil´e-ad, Iddo the son of Zechari´ah: of Benjamin, Ja-a´si-el the son of Abner:


and from Heshbon unto Ra´math–miz´peh, and Beto´nim; and from Mahana´im unto the border of Debir;


And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gil´e-ad with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahana´im with her suburbs,
