And the Lord heard the voice of Eli´jah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.


And the woman said to Eli´jah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in thy mouth is truth.


And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.


And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.


And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up; and when he had called the saints and widows, he presented her alive.


Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
