And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I.


Now the eyes of Israel were dim for age, so that he could not see. And he brought them near unto him; and he kissed them, and embraced them.


And it came to pass at that time when Jerobo´am went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahi´jah the Shi´lonite found him in the way; and he had clad himself with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field:


And Jerobo´am said to his wife, Arise, I pray thee, and disguise thyself, that thou be not known to be the wife of Jerobo´am; and get thee to Shiloh: behold, there is Ahi´jah the prophet, which told me that I should be king over this people.


The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.


in the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,


And Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.


And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there: and the land was subdued before them.


And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see;


Now Eli was ninety and eight years old; and his eyes were dim, that he could not see.
