wherefore David said unto the Gib´e-onites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the Lord?


then To´i sent Joram his son unto king David, to salute him, and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadade´zer, and smitten him: for Hadade´zer had wars with To´i. And Joram brought with him vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass:


As the Lord hath been with my lord the king, even so be he with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord king David.
