yet thou in thy manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of fire by night, to show them light, and the way wherein they should go.


He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.


He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.


And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.


But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.


Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.


and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou Lord art among this people, that thou Lord art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by daytime in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.


And they departed from before Pi–hahi´roth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.


Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.


Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.


for if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
