For these Levites, the four chief porters, were in their set office, and were over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.


And certain of them had the charge of the ministering vessels, that they should bring them in and out by tale.


Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.


and I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdali´ah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Ma-asei´ah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:


Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the Lord of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.


or ministry, let us wait on our ministering; or he that teacheth, on teaching;


And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house of the Lord. And Samuel feared to show Eli the vision.
