And the rest of the acts of Jerobo´am, how he warred, and how he reigned, behold, they are written in the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel.


And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valor, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.


And he carried away Jehoi´achin to Babylon, and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.


And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.


And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and had many sons, and sons' sons, a hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.


Wherefore the Lord brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manas´seh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.


Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnez´zar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;


And these were they which went up from Tel–me´lah, Tel–har´sa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not show their father's house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:


And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.


And my God put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein,


These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.

The cities of the south shall be shut up, and none shall open them: Judah shall be carried away captive all of it, it shall be wholly carried away captive.


Then Neb´uzar–a´dan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Babylon the remnant of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to him, with the rest of the people that remained.


And the Lord gave Jehoi´akim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.
