Have you not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that you should lay waste fortified cities into ruinous heaps.


His memory shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.


The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.


The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.


He makes wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaks the bow, and cuts the spear in two; he burns the chariot in the fire.


Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay my honor in the dust. Selah.


Out of the mouth of babes and infants have you ordained strength because of your enemies, that you might still the enemy and the avenger.


And Moses said unto the people, Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more forever.

Rejoice not against me, O my enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.


The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.


And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
