Remember, O LORD, your tender mercies and your lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.


Withhold not your tender mercies from me, O LORD: let your lovingkindness and your truth continually preserve me.


[To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.] Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions.


Why say you, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, My way is hidden from the LORD, and my right is passed over by my God?


Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory: where is your zeal and your strength, the yearning of your heart and of your mercies toward me? are they restrained?


God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?


For God has concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.


But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his heart of compassion from him, how dwells the love of God in him?
