The way of the slothful as the cutting of the thorn: and the path of the upright was raised up.


Sloth will cast a deep sleep; and the soul of sloth shall hunger.


The slothful one said, A lion without; I shall be slain in the midst of the broad places.


Go to the ant, thou slothful one; see her ways, and be wise:


And having been afraid, having gone away, I concealed thy talent in the earth; see, thou hast thine own.
