And it will be at the time of the evening, and David will rise from off his bed, and will go upon the roof of the king's house: and he will see from the roof a woman washing herself; and the woman good of aspect exceedingly.


And the adversary will answer Jehovah and say, Skin for skin, and all which is to a man he will give for his soul.


What I say to you in darkness, speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, proclaim upon the houses.


Then let them in Judea flee to the mountain;


And he in the field, let him not turn back to take up his garments:


For this I say to you, Be not anxious about your soul, what ye eat, and what ye drink; nor about your body, what ye put on. Is not the soul more than food, and the body than dress?


Therefore whatever ye have said in darkness shall be heard in light; and what ye spake to the ear in storehouses shall be proclaimed upon house tops.


And not finding how they might bring him in, for the crowd, having ascended upon the house, they put him down through the tiles, with the small couch, in the midst before Jesus.


And the morrow, these travelling, and drawing near to the city, Peter went up upon the house to pray about the sixth hour:


When thou shalt build a new house thou shalt make a ledge to thy roof, and thou shalt not put bloods upon thy house, if he shall fall from it.


And they will go down from Bamah to the city, and he will speak to Saul upon the roof.
