For what is a man profited, if he should gain the whole world, and injure his soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?


And if thy hand or thy foot give thee cause of offence, cut them off, and cast from thee: it is good for thee to come into life lame or maimed, than having two hands or two feet to be cast into eternal fire.


And he said to him, Why sayest thou me good? None is good except one, God; but if thou wouldst come into life, keep the commands.


But I say to you, That every one becoming angry with his brother, shall be subject to judgment: and whoever should say to his brother, Raca, should be, subject to the council: and whoever should say, O foolish, shall be subject to a hell of fire.


And if thine eye give thee cause of offence, take it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members be destroyed, and not thy whole body be cast into hell.


And if thine eye offend thee, cast it out: it is good for thee, one eyed, to come into the kingdom of God, than having two eyes to be cast into a hell of fire:


And supporting the souls of the disciples, beseeching to remain in the faith, that through many pressures we must come into the kingdom of God.
