And having loosed the crowds, he went up into a mount apart to pray: and being evening, he was there alone.


But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy store-house, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father which in secret; and thy Father who seeing in secret shall give back to thee openly.


And early, having risen far in the night, he went out, and departed into a deserted place, and there prayed.


And evening having come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone upon land.


And it was in those days, he went out to the mount to pray, and he was passing the whole night in prayer to God.


And Paul yet having remained sufficient days, having taken leave of the brethren, sailed out to Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn the head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.


But he took leave of them, saying, I must at any rate do the coming festival in Jerusalem: and I will again return to you, God willing. And he was conveyed from Ephesus.
