³ And for his sister, a virgin, coming near to him, who was not for a husband for her, he shall be defiled.

³ and for his sister a virgin, that is near unto him, that hath had no husband; for her may he defile himself.

³ also for your unmarried sister, who is close to you because she isn’t married—you may be polluted for her sake.

³ or a virgin sister, who is not married to a husband.

³ And for a maiden sister, who hath had no husband.

But if for his remainder coming near to him, for his mother and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,

A chief among his people shall not be defiled, to profane himself.

And if the priest's daughter shall be for a man, a stranger, she shall not eat from the offering of the holies.
