My flesh stood erect from thy fear, and I was afraid of thy judgments.


How they were for desolation as in a moment they perished; they were finished from sudden destruction.


But the Pharisees said, By the chief of demons he casts out demons.


For ye have not received the Spirit of servitude again for fear; but have received the Spirit of adoption as a son, in which we cry, Abba, Father.


For God gave not to us the spirit of timidity; but of power, and love, and of soundness of mind.


Wherefore we receiving a kingdom unmoved; we should have grace by which we might serve God acceptably, with reverence and circumspection:


Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: and the evil spirits believe, and shudder.


None has ever seen God. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love is completed in us.
