May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hand;


Gird your sword on your thigh, mighty one: your splendor and your majesty.


and he has made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand has he hid me: and he has made me a polished shaft; in his quiver has he kept me close:


You are my battle axe and weapons of war: and with you will I break in pieces the nations; and with you will I destroy kingdoms;


The precious sons of Tziyon, comparable to fine gold, How are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter!


I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirim. Isn't this true, you children of Yisra'el?* says the LORD.


Saviors will go up on Mount Tziyon to judge the mountains of Esav, and the kingdom will be the LORD's.


Then I asked, *What are these coming to do?* He said, *These are the horns which scattered Yehudah, so that no man lifted up his head; but these have come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations, which lifted up their horn against the land of Yehudah to scatter it.*


And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the spoken word of God;


I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.


For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
