then hear from heaven, and do, and judge your servants, bringing retribution to the wicked, to bring his way on his own head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.


Many sorrows come to the wicked, but loving kindness shall surround him who trusts in the LORD.


The desire of the righteous is only good. The expectation of the wicked is wrath.


Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul who sins, he shall die.


Therefore have I poured out my indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I brought on their heads, says the Lord GOD.


*You only have I chosen of all the families of the earth. Therefore I will punish you for all of your sins.*


For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?


and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Yerushalayim.


When they heard these things, they held their shalom, and glorified God, saying, *Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life!*

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.


But glory and honor and shalom to every man who works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.


Who shall separate us from the love of Messiah? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you,


For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don't obey the Good News of God?
