then hear from heaven, and do, and judge your servants, bringing retribution to the wicked, to bring his way on his own head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.


*These are of those who rebel against the light. They don't know its ways, nor abide in its paths.


Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?


The desire of the righteous is only good. The expectation of the wicked is wrath.


Pride only breeds quarrels, but with ones who take advice is wisdom.


Who is among you who fears the LORD, who obeys the voice of his servant? He who walks in darkness, and has no light, let him trust in the name of the LORD, and rely on his God.


I will give the men who have transgressed my covenant, who have not performed the words of the covenant which they made before me, when they cut the calf in two and passed between the parts of it;


Therefore have I poured out my indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I brought on their heads, says the Lord GOD.
