My soul is continually in my hand, yet I won't forget your law.


I will delight myself in your statutes. I will not forget your word.


I have gone astray like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I don't forget your mitzvot.


But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people.


But I am poor and needy. May the Lord think about me. You are my help and my deliverer. Don't delay, my God.


Better is little, with the fear of the LORD, than great treasure with trouble.


Better is a little with righteousness, than great revenues with injustice.


Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than he who is perverse in his lips and is a fool.


My son, don't forget my teaching; but let your heart keep my mitzvot:


He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we didn't respect him.


He lifted up his eyes to his talmidim, and said, *Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the Kingdom of God.


Yeshua said to him, *The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.*


For you know the grace of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.


Listen, my beloved brothers. Didn't God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him?
