Whereas you came but yesterday, should I this day make you go up and down with us, seeing I go where I may? return you, and take back your brothers; mercy and truth be with you.


I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.


All the paths of the LORD are loving kindness and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.


Mercy and truth meet together. Righteousness and shalom have kissed each other.


It shall be for a sign to you on your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that the law of the LORD may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand the LORD has brought you out of Egypt.


The LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, *The LORD! the LORD, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth,


for they will be a garland to grace your head, and chains around your neck.


Don't they go astray who plot evil? But love and faithfulness belong to those who plan good.


By mercy and truth iniquity is atoned for. By the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.


Love and faithfulness keep the king safe. His throne is sustained by love.


Bind them continually on your heart. Tie them around your neck.


Bind them on your fingers. Write them on the tablet of your heart.
