I haven't gone back from the mitzvah of his lips. I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.


So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.


to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity;


Whoever keeps the law is a wise son; but he who is a companion of gluttons shames his father.


My son, don't forget my teaching; but let your heart keep my mitzvot:


Listen, sons, to a father's instruction. Pay attention and know understanding;


Listen, my son, and receive my sayings. The years of your life will be many.


Bind them continually on your heart. Tie them around your neck.


My son, keep my words. Lay up my mitzvot within you.


Doesn't wisdom cry out? Doesn't understanding raise her voice?


Wisdom has built her house. She has carved out her seven pillars.


*Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found, and hid. In his joy, he goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field.


But Miriam kept all these sayings, pondering them in her heart.
