Blessed be the LORD, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Yerushalayim;


So I came to Yerushalayim, and was there three days.


I went out by night by the valley gate, even toward the jackal's well, and to the dung gate, and viewed the walls of Yerushalayim, which were broken down, and the gates of it were consumed with fire.


Pray for the shalom of Yerushalayim. Those who love you will prosper.


Do well in your good pleasure to Tziyon. Build the walls of Yerushalayim.


A prudent man keeps his knowledge, but the hearts of fools proclaim foolishness.


a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;


But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Yisra'el after those days, says the LORD: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people:


and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.


Therefore a prudent person keeps silent in such a time, for it is an evil time.


Don't trust in a neighbor. Don't put confidence in a friend. With the woman lying in your embrace, be careful of the words of your mouth!


*Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
