22 I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the day of Shabbat. Remember to me, my God, this also, and spare me according to the greatness of your loving kindness.

Remember now, LORD, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight. Chizkiyahu wept sore.


The king commanded Chilkiyah the Kohen Gadol, and the Kohanim of the second order, and the keepers of the threshold, to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Ba`al, and for the Asherah, and for all the army of the sky, and he burned them outside of Yerushalayim in the fields of the Kidron, and carried the ashes of them to Beit-El.


and the Kohanim killed them, and they made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Yisra'el; for the king commanded [that] the burnt offering and the sin offering [should be made] for all Yisra'el.


Chizkiyahu commanded to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also, and the trumpets, together with the instruments of David king of Yisra'el.


Moreover Chizkiyahu the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises to the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaf the seer. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.


Yeshua became the father of Yoiakim, and Yoiakim became the father of Elyashiv, and Elyashiv became the father of Yoiada,


The Kohanim and the Levites purified themselves; and they purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.


Remember me, my God, concerning this, and don't wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the observances of it.


and for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the first fruits. Remember me, my God, for good.


Remember to me, my God, for good, all that I have done for this people.


Yisra'el, hope in the LORD, for with the LORD there is loving kindness. With him is abundant redemption.


But as for me, in the abundance of your loving kindness I will come into your house. I will bow toward your holy temple in reverence of you.


and said, *Remember now, the LORD, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.* Chizkiyahu wept bitterly.


Kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers: they shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am the LORD; and those who wait for me shall not be disappointed.


let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.


For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.


*Observe the day of Shabbat, to keep it holy, as the LORD your God commanded you.
