There came a man from Ba`al-Shalishah, and brought the man of God bread of the first fruits, twenty loaves of barley, and fresh ears of grain in his sack. He said, Give to the people, that they may eat.


For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.


Now when Yeshua heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat, to a deserted place apart. When the multitudes heard it, they followed him on foot from the cities.


The talmidim said to him, *Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?*


Yeshua, being moved with compassion, touched their eyes; and immediately their eyes received their sight, and they followed him.


saying, *Sir, we remember what that deceiver said while he was still alive: 'After three days I will rise again.'


But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd.


Often it has cast him both into the fire and into the water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.*


When the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said to her, *Don't cry.*


While the day was coming on, Sha'ul begged them all to take some food, saying, *This day is the fourteenth day that you wait and continue fasting, having taken nothing.


For we don't have a Kohen Gadol who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
