They brought seven bulls, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven male goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Yehudah. He commanded the Kohanim the sons of Aharon to offer them on the altar of the LORD.


The children of the captivity, who had come out of exile, offered burnt offerings to the God of Yisra'el, twelve bulls for all Yisra'el, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve male goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering to the LORD.


But the flesh of the bull, and its skin, and its dung, you shall burn with fire outside of the camp: it is a sin offering.


You shall take of the blood that is on the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aharon, and on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be made holy, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.


Then you shall take the anointing oil, and pour it on his head, and anoint him.


Aharon shall make atonement on its horns once in the year; with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once in the year he shall make atonement for it throughout your generations. It is most holy to the LORD.*


In the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to kill thereon the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering.


You shall give to the Kohanim the Levites who are of the seed of Tzadok, who are near to me, to minister to me, says the Lord GOD, a young bull for a sin offering.

He shall take from the congregation of the children of Yisra'el two male goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.


*Aharon shall offer the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself and for his house.


when the sin in which they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a young bull for a sin offering, and bring it before the Tent of Meeting.

Every male among the children of Aharon shall eat of it, as their portion forever throughout your generations, from the offerings of the LORD made by fire. Whoever touches them shall be holy.'*


He poured some of the anointing oil on Aharon's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.


and he said to Aharon, *Take a calf from the herd for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.


You shall speak to the children of Yisra'el, saying, 'Take a male goat for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without blemish, for a burnt offering;


They fell on their faces, and said, God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be angry with all the congregation?


Then let them take a young bull, and its meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil; and another young bull you shall take for a sin offering.


For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;


For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.


Because of this, he must offer sacrifices for sins for the people, as well as for himself.


nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption.
