But he said to her, *You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?* In all this Iyov didn't sin with his lips.


My flesh trembles for fear of you. I am afraid of your judgments.


He has lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his holy ones; even of the children of Yisra'el, a people near to him. Praise the LORD!


Remove your scourge away from me. I am overcome by the blow of your hand.


I was mute. I didn't open my mouth, because you did it.


*Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.*

Your statutes stand firm. Holiness adorns your house, LORD, forevermore.


I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall go in after them: and I will get myself honor over Par`oh, and over all his armies, over his chariots, and over his horsemen.

Let the Kohanim also, who come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth on them.*

*Say to Aharon, 'None of your seed throughout their generations who has a blemish, may approach to offer the bread of his God.


no man of the seed of Aharon the Kohen, who has a blemish, shall come near to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire. Since has a blemish, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.


They shall be holy to their God, and not profane the name of their God; for they offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.


You shall sanctify him therefore; for he offers the bread of your God: he shall be holy to you: for I the LORD, who sanctify you, am holy.


*'They shall therefore keep my charge, lest they bear sin for it, and die therein, if they profane it. I am the LORD who sanctifies them.


At the door of the Tent of Meeting you shall stay day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that you don't die: for so I am commanded.*


and he spoke to Korach and to all his company, saying, In the morning the LORD will show who are his, and who is holy, and will cause him to come near to him: even him whom he shall choose he will cause to come near to him.

Therefore the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, says, I said indeed that your house, and the house of your father, should walk before me forever: but now the LORD says, Be it far from me; for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed.


Shemu'el told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. He said, It is the LORD: let him do what seems him good.


The men of Beit-Shemesh said, Who is able to stand before the LORD, this holy God? and to whom shall he go up from us?
