David went out to meet them, and answered them, If you be come peaceably to me to help me, my heart shall be knit to you; but if [you be come] to betray me to my adversaries, seeing there is no wrong in my hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.


*You shall not blaspheme God, nor curse a ruler of your people.


But the prince of the kingdom of Paras withstood me twenty-one days; but, behold, Mikha'el, one of the chief princes, came to help me: and I remained there with the kings of Paras.


But I will tell you that which is inscribed in the writing of truth: and there is none who holds with me against these, but Mikha'el your prince.*


*At that time shall Mikha'el stand up, the great prince who stands for the children of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who shall be found written in the book.


The LORD said to Hasatan, *The LORD rebuke you, Hasatan! Yes, the LORD who has chosen Yerushalayim rebuke you! Isn't this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?*


Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying, *Ha! You who destroy the temple, and build it in three days,

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the chief angel, and with God's shofar. The dead in Messiah will rise first,


not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing.


whereas angels, though greater in might and power, don't bring a railing judgment against them before the Lord.


There was war in the sky. Mikha'el and his angels made war on the dragon. The dragon and his angels made war.
