In your seed will all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.*


I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.*


The scepter will not depart from Yehudah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. To him will the obedience of the peoples be.


In that day, the LORD's branch will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the beauty and glory of the survivors of Yisra'el.


For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.


Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanu'el.


For to us a child is born. To us a son is given; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Shalom.


But you, Beit-Lechem Efratah, being small among the clans of Yehudah, out of you one will come forth to me that is to be ruler in Yisra'el; whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.


and speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of Armies, *Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build the temple of the LORD;

Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother called Miriam, and his brothers, Ya`akov, Yosi, Shim`on, and Yehudah?


and came and lived in a city called Natzeret; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophets: *He will be called a Natzri.*


The multitudes said, *This is the prophet, Yeshua, from Natzeret of the Galil.*


and seeing Kefa warming himself, she looked at him, and said, *You were also with the Natzri, Yeshua!*


Isn't this the carpenter, the son of Miriam, and brother of Ya`akov, Yosi, Yehudah, and Shim`on? Aren't his sisters here with us?* They were offended at him.


They told him that Yeshua of Natzeret was passing by.


Yosef also went up from the Galil, out of the city of Natzeret, into Yehudah, to the city of David, which is called Beit-Lechem, because he was of the house and family of David;


When they saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him, *Son, why have you treated us this way? Behold, your father and I were anxiously looking for you.*


Beginning from Moshe and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.


He said to them, *This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the Torah of Moshe, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled.*


Yeshua himself, when he began to teach, was about thirty years old, being the son (as was supposed) of Yosef, the son of Eli,


All testified about him, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth, and they said, *Isn't this Yosef's son?*


Now Philip was from Beit-Tzaidah, of the city of Andrew and Kefa.


These, therefore, came to Philip, who was from Beit-Tzaidah of the Galil, and asked him, saying, *Sir, we want to see Yeshua.*


Philip said to him, *Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.*


They answered him, *Yeshua of Natzeret.* Yeshua said to them, *I AM.* Yehudah also, who betrayed him, was standing with them.


Again therefore he asked them, *Who are you looking for?* They said, *Yeshua of Natzeret.*


Pilate wrote a title also, and put it on the cross. There was written, *YESHUA OF NATZERET, THE KING OF THE JEWS.*


Shim`on Kefa, T'oma called Didymus, Natan'el of Kanah in the Galil, and the sons of Zavdai, and two others of his talmidim were together.


They said, *Isn't this Yeshua, the son of Yosef, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say, 'I have come down out of heaven?'*


Yeshua therefore lifting up his eyes, and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip, *Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?*


Philip answered him, *Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that everyone of them may receive a little.*


even Yeshua of Natzeret, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.


*Men of Yisra'el, hear these words! Yeshua of Natzeret, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him in the midst of you, even as you yourselves know,


I answered, 'Who are you, Lord?' He said to me, 'I am Yeshua of Natzeret, whom you persecute.'


*I myself most certainly thought that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Yeshua of Natzeret.


But Kefa said, *Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Yeshua the Messiah of Natzeret, get up and walk!*
