I hate double-minded men, but I love your law.


Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. Cleanse me from my sin.


If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn't have listened.


*How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? How long will mockers delight themselves in mockery, and fools hate knowledge?


let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.


I have seen your abominations, even your adulteries, and your neighing, the lewdness of your prostitution, on the hills in the field. Woe to you, Yerushalayim! you will not be made clean; how long shall it yet be?


The sin of Yehudah is written with a pen of iron, [and] with the point of a diamond: it is engraved on the tablet of their heart, and on the horns of your altars;


Now therefore, speak to the men of Yehudah, and to the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, saying, Thus says the LORD: Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return you now everyone from his evil way, and amend your ways and your doings.


For though you wash yourself with lye, and use much soap, yet your iniquity is marked before me, says the Lord GOD.


Hear, earth: behold, I will bring evil on this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not listened to my words; and as for my law, they have rejected it.


Cast away from you all your transgressions, in which you have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, house of Yisra'el?


and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate,* says the LORD.


*Either make the tree good, and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit.


The Lord said to him, *Now you Perushim cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness.


Shim`on Kefa said to him, *Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!*


Repent therefore of this, your wickedness, and ask God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.


Because, knowing God, they didn't glorify him as God, neither gave thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.


And again, *The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.*


Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
