You brought a vine out of Egypt. You drove out the nations, and planted it.


Your people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.


You shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate: but you shall be called Cheftzi-Bah, and your land Beulah; for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married.


For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.


I will rejoice in Yerushalayim, and joy in my people; and there shall be heard in her no more the voice of weeping and the voice of crying.


At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;


For I will set my eyes on them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.


It shall happen that, like as I have watched over them to pluck up and to break down and to overthrow and to destroy and to afflict, so will I watch over them to build and to plant, says the LORD.


Then the nations that are left round about you shall know that I, the LORD, have built the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I, the LORD, have spoken it, and I will do it.


I will be like the dew to Yisra'el. He will blossom like the lily, and send down his roots like Levanon.


I will plant them on their land, and they will no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them,* says the LORD your God.


Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn't retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.


The LORD, your God, is in the midst of you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will rest in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.


It shall happen that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so the LORD will rejoice over you to cause you to perish, and to destroy you; and you shall be plucked from off the land where you go in to possess it.


The LORD your God will make you plenteous in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over you for good, as he rejoiced over your fathers;
