Therefore David blessed the LORD before all the assembly; and David said, You are blessed, LORD, the God of Yisra'el our father, forever and ever.


he led them also by a straight way, that they might go to a city to live in.


He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.


I will also appoint him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.


You shall tell Par`oh, 'Thus says the LORD, Yisra'el is my son, my firstborn,


I will bring the blind by a way that they don't know. I will lead them in paths that they don't know. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. I will do these things, and I will not forsake them.


The animals of the field shall honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,


Thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Yisra'el, and his Maker: Ask me of the things that are to come; concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands, command you me.


He will say, Cast up, cast up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling-block out of the way of my people.


who led them through the depths, as a horse in the wilderness, so that they didn't stumble?


For you are our Father, though Avraham doesn't know us, and Yisra'el does not acknowledge us: you, LORD, are our Father; our Redeemer from everlasting is your name.


But now, LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you our potter; and we all are the work of your hand.


But I said, How I will put you among the children, and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the armies of the nations! and I said, You shall call me My Father, and shall not turn away from following me.


Will you not from this time cry to me, My Father, you are the guide of my youth?


Is Efrayim my dear son? is he a darling child? for as often as I speak against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the LORD.


In those days, and in that time, says the LORD, the children of Yisra'el shall come, they and the children of Yehudah together; they shall go on their way weeping, and shall seek the LORD their God.


Indeed, he struggled with the angel, and prevailed; he wept, and made supplication to him. He found him at Beit-El, and there he spoke with us,


Afterward the children of Yisra'el shall return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king, and shall come with trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days.


I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn.


Don't we all have one father? Hasn't one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, profaning the covenant of our fathers?


*On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Efrayim according to their divisions: and the prince of the children of Efrayim shall be Elishama the son of `Ammihud.


For this is he who was spoken of by Yeshaiyahu the prophet, saying, *The voice of one crying in the wilderness, make ready the way of the Lord. Make his paths straight.*


Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.


Pray like this: 'Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.


Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.


In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.


I will be to you a Father. You will be to me sons and daughters,' says the Lord Almighty.*


You are the children of the LORD your God: you shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.


Do you thus requite the LORD, foolish people and unwise? Isn't he your father who has bought you? He has made you, and established you.


and make straight paths for your feet, so that which is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.


to the general assembly and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,


He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,


for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.*
