But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens can't contain you; how much less this house that I have built!


Then David the king stood up on his feet, and said, Hear me, my brothers, and my people: as for me, it was in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God; and I had made ready for the building.


The house which I build is great; for great is our God above all gods.


But will God indeed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens can't contain you; how much less this house which I have built!


The LORD is in his holy temple. The LORD is on his throne in heaven. His eyes observe. His eyes examine the children of men.


*We will go into his dwelling place. We will worship at his footstool.


Exalt the LORD, our God. Worship at his holy hill, for the LORD, our God, is holy!


For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.


The glory of Levanon shall come to you, the fir tree, the pine, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.


Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? says the LORD. Don't I fill heaven and earth? says the LORD.
