All Yisra'el shall mourn for him, and bury him; for he only of Yarov`am shall come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, in the house of Yarov`am.


Therefore, behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in shalom, neither shall your eyes see all the evil which I will bring on this place. They brought the king word again.


Chizkiyahu slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the ascent of the tombs of the sons of David: and all Yehudah and the inhabitants of Yerushalayim did him honor at his death. Menasheh his son reigned in his place.


Behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in shalom, neither shall your eyes see all the evil that I will bring on this place, and on the inhabitants of it. They brought back word to the king.


So his servants took him out of the chariot, and put him in the second chariot that he had, and brought him to Yerushalayim; and he died, and was buried in the tombs of his fathers. All Yehudah and Yerushalayim mourned for Yoshiyahu.


Mark the perfect man, and see the upright, for there is a future for the man of shalom.


Therefore he poured the fierceness of his anger on him, and the strength of battle; and it set him on fire all around, but he didn't know; and it burned him, but he didn't take it to heart.*


Therefore shall evil come on you; you shall not know the dawning of it: and mischief shall fall on you; you shall not be able to put it away: and desolation shall come on you suddenly, which you don't know.


You said, I shall be mistress forever; so that you did not lay these things to your heart, neither did remember the latter end of it.


Of whom have you been afraid and in fear, that you lie, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? Haven't I held my shalom even of long time, and you don't fear me?


Now therefore, speak to the men of Yehudah, and to the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, saying, Thus says the LORD: Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return you now everyone from his evil way, and amend your ways and your doings.


Don't you weep for the dead, neither bemoan him; but weep sore for him who goes away; for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.


and tell Eretz-Yisra'el, Thus says the LORD: Behold, I am against you, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.


The godly man has perished out of the earth, and there is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; every man hunts his brother with a net.


If you will not listen, and if you will not lay it to heart, to give glory to my name,* says the LORD of Armies, *then will I send the curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have cursed them already, because you do not lay it to heart.


Who can count the dust of Ya`akov, Or number the fourth part of Yisra'el? Let me die the death of the righteous, Let my last end be like his!
