It shall be for a sign to you on your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that the law of the LORD may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand the LORD has brought you out of Egypt.


Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm; for love is strong as death. Jealousy is as cruel as She'ol. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a very flame of the LORD.


In that day, this song will be sung in the land of Yehudah: *We have a strong city. God appoints salvation for walls and bulwarks.


I will make your pinnacles of rubies, and your gates of emeralds, and all your border of precious stones.


Violence shall no more be heard in your land, desolation nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.


I have set watchmen on your walls, Yerushalayim; they shall never hold their shalom day nor night: you who call on the LORD, take no rest,


and give him no rest, until he establishes, and until he makes Yerushalayim a praise in the earth.


The sin of Yehudah is written with a pen of iron, [and] with the point of a diamond: it is engraved on the tablet of their heart, and on the horns of your altars;


As I live, says the LORD, though Konyahu the son of Yehoiakim king of Yehudah were the signet on my right hand, yet would I pluck you there;


In that day, says the LORD of Armies, will I take you, Zerubbavel, my servant, the son of She'alti'el,' says the LORD, 'and will make you as a signet, for I have chosen you,' says the LORD of Armies.*
