He shakes the earth out of its place. Its pillars tremble.


Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations also of the mountains quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.


Your fierce wrath has gone over me. Your terrors have cut me off.


Men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of the LORD, and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.


The burden of the wilderness of the sea. As whirlwinds in the South sweep through, it comes from the wilderness, from an awesome land.


He has stretched out his hand over the sea. He has shaken the kingdoms. The LORD has ordered the destruction of Kena`an's strongholds.


Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty, makes it waste, turns it upside down, and scatters its inhabitants.


It will happen that he who flees from the noise of the fear will fall into the pit; and he who comes up out of the midst of the pit will be taken in the snare; for the windows on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.


The earth is utterly broken. The earth is torn apart. The earth is shaken violently.


All of the army of the sky will be dissolved. The sky will be rolled up like a scroll, and all its armies will fade away, as a leaf fades from off a vine or a fig tree.


Come down, and sit in the dust, virgin daughter of Bavel; sit on the ground without a throne, daughter of the Kasdim: for you shall no more be called tender and delicate.


Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment; and those who dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.


Through the wrath of the LORD of Armies, the land is burnt up; and the people are the fuel for the fire. No one spares his brother.


Thus says the LORD: Behold, I will raise up against Bavel, and against those who dwell in Lev-Kamai, a destroying wind.


Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by? Look, and see if there be any sorrow like my sorrow, which is brought on me, With which the LORD has afflicted [me] in the day of his fierce anger.


The LORD will roar from Tziyon, and thunder from Yerushalayim; and the heavens and the earth will shake; but the LORD will be a refuge to his people, and a stronghold to the children of Yisra'el.


But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;


Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.


But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.


I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them.
