He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves.


and he said, *If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his mitzvot, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.*


'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings, and brought you to myself.


You shall serve the LORD your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from your midst.


Hear, heavens, and listen, earth; for the LORD has spoken: I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.


Moreover the light of the moon will be like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the fracture of his people, and heals the wound they were struck with.


Listen to me, house of Ya`akov, and all the remnant of the house of Yisra'el, that have been borne [by me] from their birth, that have been carried from the womb;


In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.


For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD; because they have called you an outcast, [saying], It is Tziyon, whom no man seeks after.


Is there no balm in Gil`ad? is there no physician there? why then isn't the health of the daughter of my people recovered?


*I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from him.


For she did not know that I gave her the grain, the new wine, and the oil, and multiplied to her silver and gold, which they used for Ba`al.


When I would heal Yisra'el, then the iniquity of Efrayim is uncovered, also the wickedness of Shomron; for they commit falsehood, and the thief enters in, and the gang of robbers ravages outside.


Though I have taught and strengthened their arms, yet they plot evil against me.


For a period of about forty years he put up with them in the wilderness.


and in the wilderness, where you have seen how that the LORD your God bore you, as a man does bear his son, in all the way that you went, until you came to this place.


The eternal God is [your] dwelling place. Underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrust out the enemy from before you, and said, Destroy.


You shall remember all the way which the LORD your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his mitzvot, or not.
