She called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, *You are a God who sees,* for she said, *Have I even stayed alive after seeing him?*


When the morning came, then the angels hurried Lot, saying, *Get up! Take your wife, and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city.*


The sun had risen on the earth when Lot came to Tzo`ar.


When he saw that he didn't prevail against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh, and the hollow of Ya`akov's thigh was strained, as he wrestled.


Therefore the children of Yisra'el don't eat the sinew of the hip, which is on the hollow of the thigh, to this day, because he touched the hollow of Ya`akov's thigh in the sinew of the hip.


Then Yarov`am built Shekhem in the hill country of Efrayim, and lived therein; and he went out from there, and built Penu'el.


They took the bull which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Ba`al from morning even until noon, saying, Ba`al, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any who answered. They leaped about the altar which was made.


For I am ready to fall. My pain is continually before me.


They saw the God of Yisra'el. Under his feet was like a paved work of sappir stone, like the skies for clearness.


He didn't lay his hand on the nobles of the children of Yisra'el. They saw God, and ate and drank.


Then I said, *Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of Armies!*


But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out, and leap like calves of the stall.


By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Hasatan to torment me, that I should not be exalted excessively.


He has said to me, *My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.* Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Messiah may rest on me.


and you said, Behold, the LORD our God has shown us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God does speak with man, and he lives.


For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?


Gid`on saw that he was the angel of the LORD; and Gid`on said, Alas, Lord GOD! because I have seen the angel of the LORD face to face.


The LORD said to him, Shalom be to you; don't be afraid: you shall not die.


He went up there to Penu'el, and spoke to them in like manner; and the men of Penu'el answered him as the men of Sukkot had answered.
