The LORD said to Moshe, *Go in to Par`oh, for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I may show these my signs in the midst of them,


The LORD said to Moshe, *Par`oh won't listen to you, that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.*


It happened the same day, that the LORD brought the children of Yisra'el out of the land of Egypt by their armies.


Moshe said to the people, *Remember this day, in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.


It shall be for a sign to you on your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that the law of the LORD may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand the LORD has brought you out of Egypt.


Moshe told his father-in-law all that the LORD had done to Par`oh and to the Egyptians for Yisra'el's sake, all the hardships that had come on them on the way, and how the LORD delivered them.


I know that the king of Egypt won't give you permission to go, no, not by a mighty hand.


I will put forth my hand and strike Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst of it, and after that he will let you go.


The LORD said to Moshe, *Now you shall see what I will do to Par`oh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.*


These are that Aharon and Moshe, to whom the LORD said, *Bring out the children of Yisra'el from the land of Egypt according to their armies.*


Therefore tell the children of Yisra'el, 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments:


Par`oh's heart was hardened, and he didn't listen to them; as the LORD had spoken.


You shall tell him, 'The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to you, saying, *Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness:* and behold, until now you haven't listened.


But when Par`oh saw that there was a respite, he hardened his heart, and didn't listen to them, as the LORD had spoken.


Then the magicians said to Par`oh, *This is the finger of God:* and Par`oh's heart was hardened, and he didn't listen to them; as the LORD had spoken.

behold, the hand of the LORD is on your livestock which are in the field, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the herds, and on the flocks with a very grievous pestilence.


Penalties are prepared for scoffers, and beatings for the backs of fools.


With my soul have I desired you in the night. Yes, with my spirit within me will I seek you earnestly; for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.


Surely against me he turns his hand again and again all the day.


For thus says the Lord GOD: How much more when I send my four sore judgments on Yerushalayim, the sword, and the famine, and the evil animals, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and animal!


and I will execute judgments on Mo'av; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Thus will I execute judgments on Egypt; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

I heard the altar saying, *Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.*


for true and righteous are his judgments. For he has judged the great prostitute, who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and he has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.*


Wherever they went out, the hand of the LORD was against them for evil, as the LORD had spoken, and as the LORD had sworn to them: and they were sore distressed.
