They swore to the LORD with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.


All Yehudah rejoiced at the oath; for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the LORD gave them rest round about.


*Gather my holy ones together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.*


All the people answered together, and said, *All that the LORD has spoken we will do.* Moshe reported the words of the people to the LORD.


Moshe alone shall come near to the LORD, but they shall not come near, neither shall the people go up with him.*


He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said, *All that the LORD has spoken will we do, and be obedient.*


which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall you be my people, and I will be your God;


Thus says the LORD, the God of Yisra'el: I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,


This is the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, and my Spirit lived among you. 'Don't be afraid.'


Don't we all have one father? Hasn't one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, profaning the covenant of our fathers?


Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his ordinances, and his mitzvot, always.


Now, Yisra'el, listen to the statutes and to the ordinances, which I teach you, to do them; that you may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, gives you.


these are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which Moshe spoke to the children of Yisra'el, when they came forth out of Egypt,


Behold, I have taught you statutes and ordinances, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do so in the midst of the land where you go in to possess it.


Moshe called to all Yisra'el, and said to them, Hear, Yisra'el, the statutes and the ordinances which I speak in your ears this day, that you may learn them, and observe to do them.


But as for you, stand you here by me, and I will speak to you all the mitzvah, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.


Now this is the mitzvah, the statutes, and the ordinances, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land where you go over to possess it;


The people said to Yehoshua, No; but we will serve the LORD.


Yehoshua said to the people, You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. They said, We are witnesses.


The people said to Yehoshua, the LORD our God will we serve, and to his voice will we listen.
