Then Chaza'el king of Syria went up, and fought against Gat, and took it; and Chaza'el set his face to go up to Yerushalayim.


Yehoshafat feared, and set himself to seek to the LORD; and he proclaimed a fast throughout all Yehudah.


Then my enemies shall turn back in the day that I call. I know this, that God is for me.


There are many plans in a man's heart, but the LORD's counsel will prevail.


Neither shall Par`oh with his mighty army and great company help him in the war, when they cast up mounds and build forts, to cut off many persons.


Son of man, set your face toward the children of `Ammon, and prophesy against them:


Take for yourself an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city: and set your face toward it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Yisra'el.


You shall set your face toward the siege of Yerushalayim, with your arm uncovered; and you shall prophesy against it.
