He shall be buried with the burial of a donkey, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Yerushalayim.


But they, passing on from Perga, came to Antioch of Pisidia. They went into the synagogue on the day of Shabbat, and sat down.


But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with jealousy, and contradicted the things which were spoken by Sha'ul, and blasphemed.


It happened in Iconium that they entered together into the Jewish synagogue, and so spoke that a great multitude both of Jews and of Greeks believed.


Even saying these things, they hardly stopped the multitudes from making a sacrifice to them.


But the disbelieving Jews stirred up and embittered the souls of the Gentiles against the brothers.


When they had preached the Good News to that city, and had made many talmidim, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,


From there they sailed to Antioch, from where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work which they had fulfilled.


But the multitude of the city was divided. Part sided with the Jews, and part with the emissaries.


When some of both the Goyim and the Jews, with their rulers, made a violent attempt to mistreat and stone them,


men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.


But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was proclaimed by Sha'ul at Beroea also, they came there likewise, agitating the multitudes.


When the blood of Stephen, your witness, was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting to his death, and guarding the cloaks of those who killed him.'


They threw him out of the city, and stoned him. The witnesses placed their garments at the feet of a young man named Sha'ul.


For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name's sake.*


I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Messiah Yeshua our Lord, I die daily.


Are they servants of Messiah? (I speak as one beside himself) I am more so; in labors more abundantly, in prisons more abundantly, in stripes above measure, in deaths often.


Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I suffered shipwreck. I have been a night and a day in the deep.


I have been in travels often, perils of rivers, perils of robbers, perils from my countrymen, perils from the Gentiles, perils in the city, perils in the wilderness, perils in the sea, perils among false brothers;


For you, brothers, became imitators of the assemblies of God which are in Yehudah in Messiah Yeshua; for you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, even as they did from the Judeans;


persecutions, and sufferings: those things that happened to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. I endured those persecutions. Out of them all the Lord delivered me.
