I will establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your seed after you.


I will give to you, and to your seed after you, the land where you are traveling, all the land of Kena`an, for an everlasting possession. I will be their God.*


What one nation in the earth is like your people, even like Yisra'el, whom God went to redeem to himself for a people, and to make him a name, and to do great things for you, and awesome things for your land, before your people, whom you redeem to you out of Egypt, [from] the nations and their gods?


Now, LORD God, the word that you have spoken concerning your servant, and concerning his house, confirm you it forever, and do as you have spoken.


For your people Yisra'el did you make your own people forever; and you, LORD, became their God.


For this God is our God forever and ever. He will be our guide even to death.


The LORD is my strength and song. He has become my yeshu`ah. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father's God, and I will exalt him.


and I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.


Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD, the LORD, is my strength and song; and he has become my yeshu`ah.*


At that time, says the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Yisra'el, and they shall be my people.


But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Yisra'el after those days, says the LORD: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people:


and they shall be my people, and I will be their God:


Yet the number of the children of Yisra'el will be as the sand of the sea, which can't be measured nor numbered; and it will come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' they will be called 'sons of the living God.'


I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will test them like gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say, 'It is my people;' and they will say, 'The LORD is my God.'*


But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name:


and the LORD has declared you this day to be a people for his own possession, as he has promised you, and that you should keep all his mitzvot;


Moshe and the Kohanim the Levites spoke to all Yisra'el, saying, Keep silence, and listen, Yisra'el: this day you are become the people of the LORD your God.


Do you thus requite the LORD, foolish people and unwise? Isn't he your father who has bought you? He has made you, and established you.


who in time past were no people, but now are God's people, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
