Yehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the LORD's people; between the king also and the people.


All Yehudah rejoiced at the oath; for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the LORD gave them rest round about.

Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those who tremble at the mitzvah of our God; and let it be done according to the law.


Now those who sealed were: Nechemyah the governor, the son of Chakhalyah, and Tzidkiyahu,


Also I shook out my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labor, that doesn't perform this promise; even thus be he shaken out, and emptied. All the assembly said, Amein, and praised the LORD. The people did according to this promise.


Yet for all this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes, our Levites, [and] our Kohanim, seal to it.


Moshe came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, *All the words which the LORD has spoken will we do.*


I say, *Keep the king's command!* because of the oath to God.


You were now turned, and had done that which is right in my eyes, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbor; and you had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:


The word that came to Yirmeyahu from the LORD, after that the king Tzidkiyahu had made a covenant with all the people who were at Yerushalayim, to proclaim liberty to them;


and you shall swear, As the LORD lives, in truth, in justice, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.


They shall inquire concerning Tziyon with their faces turned toward it, [saying], Come, and join yourselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that shall not be forgotten.


Now, Yisra'el, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,


It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to my mitzvot which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,


You shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his mitzvot, and obey his voice, and you shall serve him, and cleave to him.


These are the words of the covenant which the LORD commanded Moshe to make with the children of Yisra'el in the land of Mo'av, besides the covenant which he made with them in Chorev.


these are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which Moshe spoke to the children of Yisra'el, when they came forth out of Egypt,


Now this is the mitzvah, the statutes, and the ordinances, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land where you go over to possess it;


and you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.


It shall be, if you shall forget the LORD your God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.


to Yeshua, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Hevel.


Now may the God of shalom, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Yeshua,
