They struck the men who were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they wearied themselves to find the door.


There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone which Moshe put there at Chorev, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Yisra'el, when they came out of the land of Egypt.


Chilkiyah the Kohen Gadol said to Shafan the scribe, I have found the scroll of the Torah in the house of the LORD. Chilkiyah delivered the book to Shafan, and he read it.


and that whoever would not seek the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.


They taught in Yehudah, having the scroll of the Torah of the LORD with them; and they went about throughout all the cities of Yehudah, and taught among the people.


On that day they read in the book of Moshe in the audience of the people; and therein was found written, that an `Ammonite and a Mo'avite should not enter into the assembly of God forever,


They stood up in their place, and read in the scroll of the Torah of the LORD their God a fourth part of the day; and [another] fourth part they confessed, and worshiped the LORD their God.


When these days were fulfilled, the king made a seven day feast for all the people who were present in Shushan the palace, both great and small, in the court of the garden of the king's palace.


The small and the great are there. The servant is free from his master.


He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great.


The word that came to Yirmeyahu from the LORD, after that the king Tzidkiyahu had made a covenant with all the people who were at Yerushalayim, to proclaim liberty to them;


Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moshe said would happen,


Take this scroll of the Torah, and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against you.


I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.


and had taken captive the women [and all] who were therein, both small and great: they didn't kill any, but carried them off, and went their way.


It was so, that after they had carried it about, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great confusion: and he struck the men of the city, both small and great; and tumors broke out on them.
